"Brandstrup invents sharply-stylised mime and imaginative choreography that not only propels the narrative at a hectic pace, but defines the behaviour of his character with commendable clarity."
Evening Standard
“fluent, sensitive dance writing”

In the tale of “Count Bluebeard’s Castle” the Counts successive wives are allowed access to all the rooms in the castle except one. In Bela Balaz’s version of the tale this room represents the part of the psyche that we cannot share with others. Mysteries has taken this as it’s starting point. It takes place in front of the door to this room.
